Although most of the patrons are American, many Japanese frequent the location to enjoy the Irish environment. gWe shall uphold the same standards in our new locationctraditional Irish bands and music, events, Irish food," General Manager Martin McIntyre said describing the new location to Japan Update. "And those who visit will have the opportunity to drink real Guinness beer.h According to The Morriganfs management, the new branch was opened to offer something different to the Americans and local Japanese that live in the northern areas of Okinawa such as Nago or Kin. gWe want to strengthen the image of this part of Okinawa, and an Irish Pub is the perfect way to introduce the Japanese population to Irish culture,h says McIntyre. Manager Douglas Morse expects the new location to be a place to relax, hang out and just enjoy the atmosphere. gWe want people to have fun, and we are expecting a big Japanese clientele from Nago and Kin,h said Morse, who has lived in Okinawa for 11 years. Directions: Take the expressway north towards Nago. Get off at Exit 8, Kin and turn left on to 329. Make a right after the light for Camp Hansen Gate 1. The Morriganfs is on the second floor at the corner of the intersection. |
