Another Caribbean Dance Party on Saturday

Date Posted: 2000-03-17

As usual, the Caribbean Heritage Association’s event this weekend promises to be one full of heat and spice. This coming Saturday (March 18th) night may introduce early summer at the Coral Cove on Torii Station, as Caribbean dance party music (dancehall, soca, calypso, zouk, reggae, etc.) blasst out of the speakers to remind dancers of the warm West Indian sunny beaches. The chicken curry (spicy, of course) and other select Caribbean entrees will be an unforgettable experience. There will also be lots of door prizes, jump-up music, island fun and - never absent - the Limbo dance contest with a cash prize for the winner.

The party will start at 9:00 p.m. and go on till 3:00 a.m. on Sunday. To get to the Coral Cove on Torii, take Hwy 58 heading for Nago City, and turn left onto Rt. 6 going towards Zampa. Torii Station will be on the left.

For more information, call 633-7402/0757 or 646-4938.
