Little Miss Delta Pageant to Raise Scholarship Funds

Do you have a young lady or know one between the ages of 4 and 12? The ladies of Delta Sigma Theta are sponsoring a "Little Miss Delta Princess” Pageant in conjunction with a Red and White Ball on Saturday, March 25th The event, which is a scholarship fundraiser, will be held at the Kadena Officers’ Club. There will be two categories of young competitors: ages 4-7 and 8-12. The little ladies will collect sponsorships or a patron list. The little ladies who collect the most money for the scholarship fund will be crowned Little Miss Delta and Little Miss Delta Princess. They will be awarded flowers, a tiara, a plaque, plus other prizes. There is no talent portion involved. The moneys will need to be turned in by March the 23rd. The entry fee is $10.

The Little Misses will be serenaded by Soror Maria Howell. The Delta Sisters and Friends will sing during dinner. A DJ will later take over afterwards to ensure partying enjoyment for adults. There will be door prizes and a professional photographer. Dinner choices are lemon chicken or prime rib. Dinner tickets are $25 each. The meals for the Little Misses will be free, but any other children accompanying parents will have dinner for just $10.

Members of all organizations are encouraged to sponsor a little lady to represent their group.
