Taximan Robbed at Onna

Two men reportedly robbed a taxi driver of •140,000 in cash in Yamada, Onna Village, on Monday February 7th. According to Ishikawa Police, the two men, who must be in their 20ís, took a taxi in Naha and asked the driver to head towards Onna. Near Ryukyu Mura, they asked the taxi to turn to a side road and stop. When the taxi stopped, one of the men pulled out a knife and demanded the driverís cash. When the driver handed over all of his money, the two ran into a car they had parked in the area and drove away. According to the police, both thugs were wearing yellow sports-style clothes and blue caps.
