College Admissions and Financial Aid Meetings Scheduled

DoDDs-Okinawa has scheduled a second visit of the stateside College Board representative to discuss with high school students and their families the College Admission process/procedures and aspects of Financial Aid. Dr. Steven R. Bloom, District Superintendent, says that it is a continuation of their goal for every high school student that plans to continue with post secondary education to know whom to contact, what to do and how to do it. “It is never too early to start compiling a student’s post secondary education plan. We encourage all students and families to take full advantage of this opportunity.”

Barry McCarthy, Dean of Enrollment Services at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, will conduct the Board sessions.

VISIT’S SCHEDULE:

Mon. 14 & Tue 15: Kadena High School, 12:15-4:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. respectively.

Wed, Feb. 16: Kubasaki High School, from 7:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

College Seminar Night for all parents and DoD Identification Card holders is on Wednesday, Feb. 16th at Kubasaki High School Information Center, from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
