Two injured in hit-and-run accidentDate Posted: 2012-08-17 Okinawa City Police say the two were in a taxi heading toward Mihara district of the city when a car entered the intersection and crashed into the taxi. The two victims were in the back seat of the taxi. Both the construction worker and the 56-year-old woman suffered head injuries. The taxi driver was not injured. A search is under way for the car’s whereabouts. It’s a sedan, white in color. Okinawa Police say they’ve classified the accident as a hit-and-run crime. |
