Man in critical condition after car-truck accidentDate Posted: 2012-08-15 Naha Police say the man was driving in the Minatomachi district of Naha City at 9:50 a.m. when he drove his car head-on into a truck. The accident occurred on a straight road without signals or center line markers. Police believe the mini-car veered out of its lane and onto the opposite side of the road where it crashed head-on with the truck. The mini-car driver is unconscious and in critical condition in a southern Okinawa hospital with a pancreas injury. The 33-year-old truck driver from Itoman was not injured. Naha Police say they’re continuing their investigation. |
