She says she has been on Okinawa 17 years so far, and has no plans to move anywhere. “I will stay as long as possible, preferably forever. I love it here, and don’t want to move anywhere else,” she states. Her favorite local food is yakisoba, and she thinks the best part of the island are the people and the many interesting sites and places with their colorful history and traditions.
