Japan Update karaoke links to Mihama Manga Mega ExpoDate Posted: 2012-08-03  The Cartoon movie song contest will find entrants singing an anime song, with judges picking the best rendition. The karaoke contest is open to anyone, with entrants bringing their favorite anime song on CD or MP3, then singing on the Mihama Manga Mega Expo stage. The entire event takes place at the Oak Fashion Building in the Mihama district of Chatan Town. The Mihama Manga Mega Expo runs from 2 p.m. ~ 7:30 p.m. the 10th, with the Japan Update-sponsored karaoke contest taking place from 4 p.m. ~ 6 p.m. at the container village next to the Oak Fashion Building. Any genre music is okay for the karaoke contest, including anime, manga, SF movies, or American comics. The top three performers will win Red Lobster meal cards, and all entrants will receive some sort of participation prize. Registration is to reo@japanupdate.com. Singers can wear costumes, and the general public is invited to join the contest audience, as well as the Mihama Manga Mega Expo. |
