Fantasy Space offers entertainment for all tastes

Date Posted: 2012-07-07

It’s the ultimate entertainment clubhouse, a series of clubs within a single five-story building in downtown Naha City catering to diverse musical interests.

Fantasy Space is a clubhouse opened in early June, with different style club facilities and varying musical genre on different floors, and at different times. It’s already so popular, many customers refer to Fantasy Space as “Super Club”.

The clubhouse is different from other clubs, and owners say that’s why the clubhouse must be friendly with customers.

Each floor has a role of its own. The entrance is on the second. On the first floor there is a dance hall, on the third floor is the bar, the fourth floor is the second dance hall, and the fifth floor houses a VIP room. The clubhouse has two dance halls in one building, and a different genre of music is playing on each floor.

On Friday, HIP HOP and R & B is played on the fourth floor while reggae rules on the first. And on Saturday, HIP HOP and R & B is played on the fourth floor and Electro is played on first floor. “Go Go dancers” will appear on the first floor only on Saturdays.

The Fifth floor is the VIP room. The room is a little different from spaces on the other floors, allowing for drinks, talking and singing. It has a bar counter and karaoke. Those wishing to enter the VIP room have to fork out an extra \2,000 at the door. Then, you can enter the room, drink alcohol and sing songs by karaoke with your friends.

Of course customers can come and go each floor, so, if you want to switch to another genre of music, you can go to another floor, and if you want to drink or talk with your friends; you can select either the bar on the third floor or the VIP room on the fifth floor.

Every Wednesday the Fantasy Space has a Ladies’ Day. On Ladies’ Day, all women entering the club before midnight pay only a \500 entrance fee, while men pay the regular \2,000. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th floors are open on Wednesdays. All other weekdays the Fantasy Space is open as a bar with only the 5th floor open. Customers who enter the club before 11:30 p.m., will receive a discount card that can be used on the next visit. The card gives the customers a ¥500 discount off the regular entrance fee, and is the same for both men and ladies.

Many renowned DJ’s are appearing at the club, including DJ Cutmasta, DJ Charow and DJ georgie (Japanese DJs). DJ’s who turns discs on military bases will appear, too. The DJs’ are DJ Tre and DJ Sergio. All of the DJs can play all genres, so, you must be heated up by their play. The manager of Fantasy Space, Kei Setoda says “Our club will be livening up more and more. A lot of people meet here on weekends, so, please come and enjoy our Super Club.”

Fantasy Space is open from 9:00 p.m. until the last customers leave.

Dollars are accepted at Fantasy Space, along with Japanese yen.

Fantasy Space is located on Okiei Street in Naha. Head down Highway 58 for Naha City and turn left towards Miebashi monorail station to enter Okiei Street. Go straight ahead. Fantasy Space is on your left. From Kokusai Street going south towards Kumoji, turn right at the corner with Starbucks coffee. Fantasy Space is on the right, down the street. The club’s building is lit up with purple colored lights at night, making it easy to recognize.
