Tropical ambience, urban comfort key to new hotel

Date Posted: 2012-06-08

Moon Ocean Ginowan Hotel & Residence is now open in Ginowan City, offering a new type of resort hotel that’s fusion of southern island ambience and urban comfort.

The hotel is located in front of Ginowan Marina, with easy access to either Naha City to the south, or Kadena Air Base and Camp Foster to the north. The new property is perfectly situated for a new shopping mall, “San-A Ginowan Convention City” which will be open next to the hotel in July. The hotel patio is surrounded with colorful tropical flowers, and the garden pool is available for house guests. Moon Ocean Ginowan Hotel and Residence is designed for relaxed, long-stay visits with hospitality and condominium comfort.

The guest rooms are condominium type, equipped with spacious living rooms, ocean-view baths and convenient kitchens. The athletic gym is equipped with the latest exercise equipment and an “All day dining Ocean Grill” serves American style grilled food to make a long-stay more like being at home.

Moon Ocean Ginowan Hotel & Residence is offering military discount for the studio twin for ¥10,000 per night from the first night, a discount normally applied only for stays of six nights. A more reasonable plan is available for longer stays.

The hotel is only a 30-minute drive from Naha International Airport. Take Route 58 north. At the Makiminato Intersection, make the turn toward the Okinawa Convention Center. The hotel is located on the right before the 2nd light, just past the Ginowan Marina.
