Summer Narita ~ Seattle route launch for ANADate Posted: 2012-05-12  ANA says it’s pushed the schedule forward to capture a share of the busy summer season passenger demand, initially flying Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. As the route is established, the airline says it will begin using its new Boeing 787 Dreamliners, making it the first ANA service to the U.S. using the fuel efficient plane. The airline says an expedited push into the western United States market beefs up its business model as a network carrier, and is consistent with its goal of increasing international expansion. ANA now operates eight daily routes to the U.S., with Seattle becoming the ninth. ANA also plans to launch services later this year from Narita to San Jose, California. |
