Attempted arson lands man in Naha City jailDate Posted: 2012-04-27 The man was reportedly drunk. Naha Police say the man sprinkled lamp oil in the living room and passageway of his older brother’s house in the city’s Mekaru district, then tried to ignite a newspaper to set the building ablaze about 9:30 p.m. last Saturday night. A quarrel between the brothers is believed to have been what triggered the man’s outburst. Police responding to an emergency call from the house owner brought officers who made the arrest. |
