Kodomono Kuni Fest much more than streamers

The Kodomono Kuni Festival in Okinawa City starts one week from today, and promises to be an exciting four days with live entertainment, horseback riding and animal experiences.

Kodomono Kuni is Okinawa City’s Zoo, and is gearing up to present the Nishihara High School Marching Band performances, animal feeding experiences in the zoo area, horseback riding and a huge maze designed and built by kids. The Kodomono Kuni Festival runs May 3rd ~ 6th, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day, with last entry at 5 p.m.

There will also be a science show, a jumbo blow bubble people can get inside of, and opportunities to visit the Wonder Museum. Throughout the festival, children under 12 are admitted free, except for entry to the Wonder Museum.

Admission is ¥500 for adults and ¥200 for high school and junior high school students. Kids under 12 enter free.
