Date Posted: 2012-04-27

A turtle friendly experience is on tap for visitors to the Kume Island Turtle Hall on Sunday and Monday, and again the following weekend.

The Kume Island Turtle Hall is offering visitors the opportunity to meet sea turtles face-to-face, touch them and feed them. Kume Island Turtle Hall is open daily 9 a.m. ~ 5 p.m., with last entry at 4:30 p.m.

The special sea turtle meet-and-greet is open to five parties, each with five people, on each day. Reservations should be made immediately at (098) 985-7513. Turtle experience participants should arrive at the Turtle Hall by 9 a.m., or risk having their space forfeited to people on a waiting list. Aside from Sunday, reservations can be made for Monday the 30th, or any date May 3rd through 6th.

Entry tickets to Kume Island Turtle Hall are 300 for adults and 200 for kids under 15 years of age.
