Fire Squad hosts King Jam Anniversary Unlimited Tour

The reggae excitement by musician Massive B has evolved into a career that’s taken him from one side of the world to the other, and now he’s bringing his show to Club Nest in Okinawa.

Massive B label began more than 10 years ago with the vision of DJ Bobby Konders to start his own sound system. The voice behind Massive B at its start was no other than Jabba. Massive B has parlayed that team to current members Major Hype, Shatta and Big Dog, and they’re leading the reggae scene worldwide. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, with strong connections to the reggae scene in homeland Jamaica as well, they’ve a long running hit radio show on Hot 97, “On da reggae tip”, and have also gained a reputation for themselves with worldwide tours in Europe, Africa, Carribean, Japan, Canda and the U.S.

One of the longest running parties in New York, Massive B’s “Fire Sundays” held in the heart of Brooklyn, bring the hottest and latest music from reggae, dancehall, hip hop, R&B, and soca.

The Fire Squad representing the local Okinawan crew hosts the Osaka crew King Jam’s 13th Anniversary Unlimited Tour, joined with Massive B from New York City as the special guest. The event will be held on April 13th, at Club Nest on the first floor of Koza Music Town. Doors open at 10 p.m. till morning. Admission ¥3,000/$35 at the door, ¥2,500 /$30 for advance tickets.
