Three local products to be marketed nationwide

Okinawa City officials are beaming at the successes of their marketing prowess that is putting three local products in stores across Japan.

The announcement that Coffee Awamori by Shinzato Shuzo, B.C. Standard Sauce made using Okinawan locally grown mango and brown sugar, and an 8cm pipe speaker and a 10w x2 welded amplifier that offers equal sound to an omni-directional unit will be soon showing up on store shelves across Japan is seen as a plus for a campaign begun last December. The products were chosen from 24 entry products as satisfying Okinawa City’s requirements by name, color and form design, as well as quality, price and functionality.

The products will be sold bearing the logo mark of Koza Stars, the official mark of Okinawa City. The products will be sold at six locations in Okinawa and on the Japanese mainland beginning this week. The products will be sold at Plaza House Shopping Center in Okinawa City, Live restaurant Kalahai in Chatan, goods and furniture select shop MIX Lifestyle in Ginowan, and at shops, dining facilities and bars in Tokyo.
