Car-bus accident injures four women

A car driven by an elderly man veered out of control on a highway in Nakijin Village, slamming into a medical facilityís micro-bus, injuring four women.

Police say the 75-year-old man driving the car says he doesnít know what caused the accident. The accident took place on a curve as the vehicle headed toward Nakijinís Gogayama district on Prefectural Road 72, and the bus was traveling south toward Nago.

Four women on the micro-bus were injured, including a 78-year-old woman who suffered cheek injuries. A 68-year-old woman received blows to the chest, an 84-year-old woman suffered a head concussion, and a 39-year-old woman received bruises.
