All-you-can eat special heralds Kamisushi anniversary

Date Posted: 2011-11-18

Mark the calendar for November 23rd, when Kamisushi celebrates its two-year anniversary with a blowout all-you-can-eat style event that will include just about everything under the sun.

Sushi, tempura, roast beef, sashimi and deep-fried dishes will all be on the line, along with Orion Mugishokunin and soft drinks needed to wash all the food down, are waiting for those wanting to share the celebration with Kamisushi’s owner, Isamu Kamiya. Kamisushi’s a sushi bar that’s traditional, but…it’s far more than that. It has an American touch with its Los Angeles style entrees, and the sushi bar is known for its special events each month.

The November 23rd special will be in two sections, a lunch running from 11:30 a.m. ~ 3 p.m. for ¥1,000, and a dinner round from 5 ~ 10 p.m. for ¥1,500. There’s a 90-minute limit for this all-you-can-eat event. Kamisushi’s owner encourages people to come early, because if all the dishes are gobbled down quickly, the end time will be moved up. There’s also the request to “take only what you’re going to eat, and not waste food.” No reservations will be taken for the anniversary celebration, and there will be no take outs.

“I deeply appreciate my customers,” says owner-chef Kamiya, “and will continue putting efforts into serving the best sushi on the island.” His invitation is with the confidence you’ll “enjoy eating the best sushi on the island from now on.”

Kamisushi is open daily 11:30 a.m. ~ 3 p.m. for lunch, and 5 p.m. ~ 11 p.m. for dinner, with last food orders at 10 p.m. and last drink orders at 10:30 p.m. Kamisushi accepts credit cards, and reservations are available at (098) 926-3290. Kamisushi is located in the building next to Makeman DIY in Mihama, just above Mihama Sega on the second floor. There’s plenty of free parking next to the building.
