Tiger Woods to compete against Japanese ladies

Tiger Woods, who recebntly swung back into U.S. PGA action at the Frys.com Open in California, is next heading to Japan to take on three top Japanese women in a charity golf event.

“Challenge! Tiger Woods” is slated for November 1st at the Masters Golf Club in Miki City, where the Japanese LPGA Ladies Masters takes place, with Woods going up against JLPGA stars Miho Koga, Shinobu Moromizato and Rui Kitada in a nine-hole event.

The 25-year-old Okinawa native Moromizato has been playing the U.S. LPGA tour since 2006. She turned professional in 2005 and claimed three top-five finishes on the Japanese tour before heading stateside.
