Best Denki electronics changes name, conceptDate Posted: 2011-09-23 The company’s Ameku Branch in Naha City and Nishihara Interchange Branch in Barclay’s Court Shopping Mall in Toyama, Urasoe City, are now going by the name B-B. The renovation and rebranding, says a Best Denki company spokesman, is based on original price research, and will allow it to identify hot sellers so they can offer the best prices. Best Denki began promoting the conversion to B-B in Spring, focusing first on the highly competitive urban areas and the larger suburban stores. The Ameku and Nishihara Inter-Change Branches are the first to see the rebranding in Okinawa, and 40th and 41st in Japan. The company says it intends to increase its product lineup, focusing on low price original goods including computer peripherals, batteries and headphones developed jointly with manufacturers. The company spokesman says Best Denki will be monitoring the competition, and will respond quickly if a rival company reduces its prices, thus permitting Best Denki to make adjustments and offer equal or lower prices. The official says it’s also prepared to assist customers purchasing large ticket appliances that won’t fit in a car. It will loan the customer a light truck, absolutely free. |
