Cops arrest man trying to kill sonDate Posted: 2011-09-23 Uruma City Police say 70-year-old Shigeichi Kikuyama of the Toyohara district took a sickle to his 43-year-old son with the intention of killing him. Although the sun was slashed on his right arm and belly, hospital officials say the injuries are not life-threatening. The arrest warrant says Kikuyama took the sickle to his son during a “never ending quarrel” at the family home. Uruma City Police say it appears the son had resorted to violence earlier, triggering the father’s anger. |
