Oldwest Cafe serves home-style cooking in old west settingDate Posted: 2011-08-12 ![]() ![]() Where did it all come from? Well, Mr. Hayashi, the owner, put together much of this collection while running a limousine business in the States. “Many of my clients were cowboy movie stars and now you can see their pictures with autographs at Oldwest Café, “ Hayashi says The food here adds to the authenticity. Pancakes you’ll never tire of and classic hamburgers which use specially made buns that have just the right balance between moist center and crisp outside which wonderfully compliment the fresh, crisp lettuce, tomato and onion - not to mention the patties. Oldwest Cafe is proud to announce that their hefty and succulent beef patties don’t use any binding ingredients – they are just 100% prime beef. Heading up the menu is the Big Cowboy Burger at ¥1050/$12.50, which is loaded with two massive meat patties, oozing with cheese, layered with bacon, topped with super-fresh lettuce, tomato and onion, garnished with pickles and sandwiched between those heavenly buns we mentioned. You’ll find the Oldwest Cafe at the north end of Park Avenue, and the cafe can be contacted at 098-989-9139. Open from 11 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. Tue. through Fri., and from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, they are closed every Monday. Parking is available at the nearby City Parking facility to the north east. The Oldwest Cafe doesn’t accept credit cards, but you can pay for your authentic cowboy grills with US dollars. |
