Date Posted: 2011-06-02

Cho Cho Rie-No Hawaiian Café Restaurant has only been open since last September, but already its gained a steady following for its burgers, chicken and steak.

The Chatan eatery is owned by Iyusaku Matzuda, and the Okinawa transplant from Kyusyou, Saga Prefecture, is touting the take out service he offers in the Mihama, Hamakawa, Sunabe, Miyago, Ginowan, Isa, Oyama, Aragusuku and Kitamae areas. Minimum take out orders are ¥1,500. Cho Cho Rie-No is the third in the franchise series, operating noon to 9 p.m. daily, except Mondays.

Matzuda recommends the highly popular Locomoco Burger at ¥550, and the J-Chicken for ¥650. He also offers a steak for a nominal ¥1,000.

Nighttime sees a transition from restaurant to bar at Cho Cho Rie-No. From 8 p.m. to midnight, the restaurant-turned-pub is the place to mix and mingle, for American boys to meeti Japanese girls and making new friends.

Take out orders can be placed at (098) 989-5444. Cho Cho Rie-No Hawaiian Café Restaurant is located next to Lawson’s at 240-5-103 Kitamae in Chatan. Turn left at the first intersection after the Kitamae Gate to Camp Foster, and the restaurant is on the right.
