Festival set for students wanting overseas studies

Date Posted: 2011-05-26

A one-day Study Abroad Festival is taking place Saturday for Okinawa students wanting to further their education in an overseas environment.

The event takes place at the Okinawa Industrial Promotion Center in Naha City, introducing attendees to steps toward fulfilling dreams of studying in a foreign country. Representatives of foreign schools will be present, including those from Australia Gold Coast School.

The festival provides consultation on costs of planning for overseas studies, while providing background on good and bad experiences. The festival operates 11 a.m. ~ 6 p.m. Details are available at www.Iac-academy.com or by email, info@iac-academy.com.

To reach the festival site in Oroku, travel highway 58 through Naha City. After crossing the bridge by Onoyama Park, continue straight toward Itoman –NOT taking the right turn over the ramp toward the airport—and going one kilometer south. The Okinawa Industrial Promotion Center is on the right.
