Ryukyu Golden Kings head into BJL semi-finals

The Ryukyu Golden Kings will be out for blood as they head into the Basketball Japan League Final Four championship round for the third time in three years Saturday night.

Okinawa takes on the Osaka Evessa in Tokyo’s Ariake Coliseum for bragging rights with a win for the Western Conference Championship and a shot at the league championship. Tip off is set for 6:05 p.m., as the two squads go against each other for a third consecutive year for the title.

In the Eastern Conference, the Hamamatsu Higashimikawa Phoenix also make their way to the conference championship game for a third straight year. The Basketball Japan League defending champions will face the Niigata Albirex BB in the Eastern Conference Championship game May 21st in an afternoon contest that begins at 2:05 p.m.

Winners of the two conference championships will clash Sunday, May 22nd.
