Kids get feel for 3D at Tomiton

A special event featuring the ecology of dinosaurs and undersea life is under way at Tomiton Shopping Center, running through May 8th.

Children are able to experience “The 3-D World in Tomiton”, enjoying the chance to reach their hands into the 3-D images. The show runs 12 times daily, starting at 10:30 a.m. Each show is ½-hour long, and costs ¥400 for adults, and ¥300 for junior high school and elementary students. Admission for children under three years of age is free.

“It’s my first time to see 3-D pictures,” said five-year-old Daichi Hamagawa. “I want to come again. The project is sponsored by Ryukyu Shinpo newspaper company at the Tomiton Shopping Center’s first floor public event space. The screening schedule is for Saturdays and Sundays, but extended to daily March 25th – April 6tth, and again during Golden Week.
