Protesters block workers at helipad construction siteDate Posted: 2011-02-11 The 80 workers from the Okinawa Defense Bureau were taking gravel to the N1 area at the U.S. Northern Training Area when residents blocked the trucks from entering the base. The workers and protesters were in a standoff for several hours before the Bureau ordered workers to take gravel brought to the site earlier, and use it for finishing the construction work. |
