Servicemen involved in three weekend incidentsDate Posted: 2011-02-11 Ginowan City police arrested a 21-year-old Marine for breaking and entering. He's suspected of entering an apartment in Ginowan City's Kiyuna area. The Marine, police say, was too drunk to even remember what he was doing. Okinawa City police responded to a breaking and entering situation of its own. They arrested 23-year-old Patric Shay, and charged him with entering a private residence. A sailor was arrested by Okinawa City police and charged with drunk driving. The 21-year-old. Reginaldo Watkins, admitted he'd been drinking, but told officers he didn't drive. Police investigators say Watkins had been driving around the Moromizato area in his car before crashing into a taxi stopped on the street. The Navy man fled the scene, but was later picked up. The taxi driver identified Watkins as the man who struck his car. That case remains under investigation. |
