Purse snatcher on spree in Naha City neighborhoodsDate Posted: 2011-01-14 The retired woman was walking along a Tsuji street when a man riding a black motor scooter snatched her purse. The woman said she lost ｴ5,000 in the purse, but she was not injured. She told police the man was wearing "a blackish jacket". Naha City Police say this is the fifth case of bag snatching or attempted bag snatches since January 11th in the city. Naha Police say they believe all are the work of a single man, and that investigators are pursuing leads. |
