Have you ever seen pink-and-white vans sporting animal motifs on Okinawan streets? Animal Hospital 22 offers advanced care for all domestic animals, provides medical treatment until 10 p.m. every day and can respond 24 hours a day to emergencies. Their colorful "Delivery" vans provide house visits and pickup services as well as a medicine delivery service for treating animals when their owners have no transportation or time. These vans will travel anywhere within Okinawa prefecture except on military bases; however, they can stop at the base gates. Animal Hospital 22 will open their central branch on Nov. 1 near OK Furniture on Route 329 in the Yogi area of Naha City.

Have you ever experienced a situation in which you had a hard time finding a pet hospital where English was spoken? Or you didn't know what to do when your pet got injured or sick on a holiday or at midnight, when most animal hospitals are closed? Animal Hospital 22 is ready to handle phone calls in English 24 hours a day, while English-speaking hospital staff and translators are always available at the hospital during office hours. The hospital also offers reasonable health insurance for pets. According to Animal Hospital 22, no one has to worry about medical care for animals on Okinawa any more

Speaking of pets, a great event for all animal lovers will soon be coming to Chatan. Pet Fair, presented by Animal Hospital 22, will be held on the first floor of Mihama's Ferris wheel building this Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., where over 100 dogs and cats of various ages and breeds will be displayed in the hope of finding a new home. Some of them have never encountered pet owners before, and some used to be pets but were abandoned. Your pet will also have an opportunity to receive medical treatment at the Pet Fair, and dog trainers from Shion Police Dog Training School will demonstrate proper pet handling at the same location. Visitors to the fair will receive discount tickets for spaying and neutering pets. Please participate in order to reduce the number of unfortunate animals on Okinawa. For more information, contact Animal Hospital 22 Central Branch at 098-938-8822.
