Mentally challenged teen molested by elderly manDate Posted: 2010-09-30 Police say the man had observed the girl numerous times as she visited with friends, then asked her to “come with me.” Taking her to his home, the man promised he was with the company “taking care of you, and I will give you money if you let me touch your body.” He told the 14-year-old girl, then about 12 years of age, “It is your job to let me touch you.” Sometimes the man promised “today I will give you some sweets,” or “I will give you ¥1,000”, and sometimes gave her coins. He also threatened the girl of consequences if she didn’t return. Over the two-year period he’s accused of fondling the girl’s chest and body, forcing her to touch him and to commit indecent acts. The case came to light when the girl’s mother began wondering about the money being brought home. “I found coins, but sometimes ¥1,000 bills, too,” and that got her wondering. “I never left money at home, but why is the girl having it.” Finally, when her daughter began vomiting after incidents with the man, the mother confronted her daughter and she described her ordeals with the elderly man. Police say he has confessed. |
