Military truck overturns; causes massive Expressway traffic jamDate Posted: 2010-09-08 Police say the truck was headed back to its base, intending to exit the expressway at Ginoza exit. The driver and his associate mistakenly began exiting at Kin IC, then realized the error and stopped, then tried to back up. Other cars exiting at Ginoza IC blocked the truck, causing it to overturn and dump its container onto the roadway. Authorities say the combination of the truck laying on its side and the container on the road contributed to the 7:50 a.m. Friday traffic jam on the north-bound expressway lanes. |
