Chiropractic treatments can eliminate pain

Date Posted: 2010-09-02

Hamid Ebrahami is a chiropractor--a physician specializing in the human body’s muscular, nervous and skeletal systems, with emphasis on the spine—who’s taken Okinawan health care up a notch as he’s helped hundreds of patients find pain-free lives.

An Okinawa resident since 2003, he’s operated Hamid Care Center in Chatan, using x-rays as the starting point to identify individuals’ pains often caused by interference in body systems caused by muscles and vertebrae out of alignment. Hamid knows that skeletal imbalance through joint or other dysfunction, particularly in the spine, can cause pain. Dr. Hamid says a physician should be consulted when pain strikes, because individuals generally cannot solve the problem. He says that in many cases, a single chiropractic visit is enough to relieve most discomfort, and that repeat visits normally cause major symptoms to disappear permanently.

From Naha to Nago City, and even further south to Itoman, Hamid’s been effective in curing lumbago, stiff necks and shoulders, achieving results where hospitals and other courses of treatment have failed. Dr. Hamid speaks fluent English and Japanese, and his clinic accepts U.S. dollars in addition to Japanese yen. Reservations and information are available at (098) 936-7662.

Hamid Care Center is open 9:30 a.m. ~ 6:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On Thursdays he’s open 9:30 a.m. ~1 p.m. and closed Tuesdays and Sundays.

To visit Hamid Care Center, from Camp Foster’s Kitamae Gate, take Highway 58 north toward Kadena, turning left at the Chatan intersection with the police box, then travel the direction of San-A Hamby Town. Turn left at the first traffic light and there’s a Family Mart on the right, next to the Hamid Care Center. Alternately, head north on Highway 58 toward Kadena, turning left at the traffic light after Lawson’s Kitamae. Turn right at the next traffic light at the corner of Kinjo Teppanyaki Steak House and continue toward Araha Beach until spotting the family Mart.
