Three-day Kinjo Ryuta exhibition coming upDate Posted: 2010-09-02 Artist Kinjo’s watercolor paintings each tell a story, and each of the 24 paintings are sequential, showing first sunset scene before working through the darkness and to sunrise, the final painting. He says he painted the pictures to show a connection between humanity and nature. The exhibition runs Friday, September 10th, through Sunday, September 12th, at the Urasoe Art Museum on Highway 330. It’s part of a group of unusual looking brown buildings on the left, after passing through the tunnel. Free parking is available. The exhibition will operate 1 p.m. ~ 7 p.m. on Friday the 10th with last entry at 6 p.m., and 9:30 a.m. ~ 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with last entry at 4:30 p.m. Admission to the exhibition is free. |
