Sweet Nails offers creative nail art designDate Posted: 2010-04-15    She opened the Sweet Nails salon after spending 15 years learning the nail art business, saying she always wanted to be an independent woman financially. Her salon located on Highway 58 near Big Dip and Starbucks in Chatan is a bright, cheerful yellow; creating a relaxing atmosphere as patrons relax, watch DVD’s on a sofa while enjoying snacks and drinks. Her most popular offering is an acrylic plus one color course for ¥5,200. Matsumoto measures the size and shape of each person’s nails, and then fits the fingers naturally without creating uncomfortable feelings compared to the tip overlays. The ¥5,200 course includes treatment with acrylic and a single nail color. Special designs in 3D, stone or art are ¥200 for each nail. Sweet Nails also offers a pedicure plus design for ¥3,700. The pedicure includes a footbath, massage and peeling. Customers taking the pedicure can also choose any 3D, stone or art designs for free, or can create their own. The Sweet Nails salon owner says, “nail art lovers are like me. It’s not a fancy salon, but we do our best to offer quality care for customers who can relax while taking the two-hour course.” Sweet Nails offers a point card system, where customers collect 10 points and receive a free pedicure ticket.
