Baton Twirlers, Marching Bands set to perform

Okinawa’s top high school, junior high school and even elementary schools are getting into the act today for the Marching Band and Baton Twirling event at the Okinawa Convention Center. Sponsored by the Kyushu Tournament of School Marching Bands and Marching Band Baton Twirling, the one-day festival brings together a dozen schools, including Nishihara High School Marching Band, which has won several Japanese National Championships as well as the 2009 World Championships in Holland.   Read More!

Naha cultural heritage subject of exhibition

Naha City is a treasure house of cultural properties, formed by a series of regions brought together for self preservation, and the city’s History Museum now is hosting a ‘Cultural Properties of Naha City’ exhibition.
