22 bands performing for Peaceful Love Rock Festival

The sounds of rock ‘n roll music will fill the air Saturday and Sunday as nearly two dozen performers at the Peaceful Rock Festival take to an Okinawa City stage to entertains thousands. A total of 22 groups, including two newcomers that won the right to perform through an audition held by the festival organizer, will perform at the island's largest annual rock event, the two-day Peaceful Love Rock Festival 2011 at the Okinawa City Athletic Field near Kadena Air Base Gate 5.   Read More!

Alo Hai Festival to benefit disaster relief

The world’s most popular Hawaiian female group is heading to Okinawa for a Friday afternoon Aloha for Japan Charity Concert that’s part of the Alo Hai Festival.
