Community thanked for role in Philippines storms relief

More than 6,000 pounds of relief supplies were collected and prepared for shipment to the Philippines in a short period of time after a pair of tropical storms slammed the islands, and relief effort organizers are saying ‘thanks’ to the community. Relief efforts in the aftermath of Tropical Storms Ketsana and Ondoy attracted volunteer participants from across Okinawa, gathering up supplies and getting them packed in a short, 16-day period.   Read More!
