Marines, sailors build walkways to new friendships

YOMITAN VILLAGE, OKINAWA, Japan — A group of 12 Marines and sailors from different units on Camp Hansen took a day away from work, here June 29 to volunteer at Okinawa Christian School International, an institution with both Okinawan and American students in attendance. Okinawa Corporals pitch in, spruce up senior home

CHATAN, OKINAWA, Japan— Twelve corporals and three instructors from 3rd Transportation Support Battalion's Corporals' Course, class 3-05, cultivated the cluttered yard outside of the Yomei-En Senior Home here June 22, as a community relations project. The corporals, who graduated July 1, cut grass, pulled and cut weeds, washed windows and swept walkways at the senior home.   Read More!
