From November 1st through the 7th, one of Okinawa’s most talented artists will be offering to the public a view of her aesthetic ingenuity. All for Sister Hazel at Futenma Flightline Festival

Screaming and hopping fans gave Sister Hazel, the “happy” acoustic jangle pop-rock band from Gainesville, Florida, groovy acknowledgements at a live concert last Saturday October 16th. Their stage performance at MCAS Futenma marked the peak of that marine airbase’s festival for that day, with over 3000 voices singing in chorus and moving their bodies in unison.   Read More!

Volunteers back from EM relief mission to Taiwan

Volunteers from the EM Research Organization (EMRO) visited Taiwan earlier this month for eight days to help residents cope with the unsanitary conditions provoked by the September 21 earthquake. Yoshifumi Yagi, Chief Manager of Dissemination and Public Information Department, and Research Assistant Masahiko Gondo, joined forces with Taiwanese employees of "Yubi Seibutsu Kagi" to distribute EMRO's effective microorganism (EM) product.   Read More!
