Rugby gaining popularity on island

There are presently two ex-pat Rugby clubs in Okinawa, Hansen Hellcats RFC and Exiles RFC that is active in Kadena area. The teams play most Sundays in pick-up matches and scheduled Union tournaments throughout the island and also in mainland Japan locations.   Read More!

Suffering dogs are rescued by volunteers

Approximately eighty dogs in Gushikawa were left in squalor conditions when a breeder suddenly passed away last September. The dogs were being looked after by a relative of the deceased, but the amount of work involved for the proper care of the animals was too overwhelming, and the dogs suffered from malnutrition and neglect.   Read More!
