Highway 58 hit and run accident could involve U.S. military truckDate Posted: 2005-06-04 The ten-year-old told police he saw the truck that hit him, and also the occupants. He described the truck as medium size, and green. He said the three foreign men in the truck cab were wearing camouflage clothing. The boy suffered shoulder injuries. The incident happened at the intersection of Highway 153 and Highway 58 in Makiminato. The 5th grader was the only witness police now know about, but they are looking for others. Police say the truck was turning southbound from Highway 153 onto Highway 58, rolling into the crosswalk while the pedestrian youngster was there. They say the truck did not stop.
