The closed facilities are the Oceanic Culture Museum, Tropical Dream Center, the open space & Setting Sun rest house, General bureau (Haisai Plaza), except the relief place, Kids’ Adventure Land, Aqua Town, electric sightseeing car, garden stand, and the restaurant.
The Churaumi Aquarium, including gift and souvenir shops and restaurants plus manatee and turtle pools, will also close through March 15th.
The Ocean Expo Park area itself will stay open.
Officials stress that although the current plan calls for temporary two-week closure, they are continuously monitoring the situation and will adjust the plan accordingly.
