Okinawa Prefectural Police arrested a 28-year-old man from Thailand after customs official found 2.8kg methamphetamine in his suitcase at Naha Airport on Dec. 16th.
Police estimate the street value of the meth at ¥170 million. The contraband was discovered hidden in the double bottom of his suitcase.
The suspect arrived at Naha Airport from Vietnam via Taiwan. When customs officers checked his belongings, they found the meth.
