Marine nabbed for DUI

Okinawa City Police nabbed a 28-year-old Marine dtationed on Camp Courtney on suspicion of driving under influence on Dec. 16th in Mihama, Chatan.
A police patrol stopped the Marine about 8:30 a.m. after noticing him driving suspiciously slow. When police officers talked to the driver they smelled alcohol and administered a breathalyzer test that showed alcohol content in his breath that exceeded the legal limit and he was arrested.
When questioned, the Marine denied the charges, and although he admitted to drinking the night before, he insisted that he had already sobered up.
