Naha OPA reopens in new location
After a hiatus of a few years, Naha OPA shopping complex that used to be located on Kokusai Street is reopening on the second and third floor of the new Naha Bus Terminal Building.
The shopping complex has 50 different shops selling goods from cosmetics to fashion items. There are also restaurants and a bakery shop. According to Hana OPA, 740,000 people live within 20-minute drive from the facility. It’s also within easy reach for tourists, as being in the same building as the bus terminal, every bus line in Naha stops there. The monorail Asahibashi Station is connected to the building by a covered promenade. The building also has parking for 450 cars.
Takaharu Higa, the chairman of Naha OPA, said, “I would like to give a new chance for Naha OPA and offer customers a new, unique shopping experience that features a mix if Okinawan and various overseas cultures.”
Naha OPA is open every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
