Ashibinaa Mall to hold Aqua Jewelry Art Exhibition
Aqua Jewelry Art Exhibition, scheduled to run at Okinawa Outlet Mall Ashibinaa from July 8 through Sep. 10, will feature a variety of “floating” art.
The pieces in the exhibition look like jellyfish, but are, in fact, made artificially using special materials, like biological muscles. They float in water, casting fantastic rays of light into the exhibition space while the lights are turned off.
The exhibition includes 200 clione, which are often called “sea angels.”
The exhibition is open every day from 11:00 to 20:00 with last admission at 19:30.
The venue is Okinawa Outlet Mall Ashibinaa 2nd floor special event hall. Advance tickets are available starting July 3rd at A-Coop Apre and FamilyMart’s Fami Port terminals. Advance tickets cost ¥600 for adults and ¥400 for children of junior high school age and younger. Children under 3 are free. Ticket at door cost ¥100 more.
