U.S. seaman arrested for DUI Saturday morning

Ginowan Police arrested a U.S. Navy seaman Saturday morning on suspicion of DUI.

According to police, 26-year-old Marquise Leesereynolds (phonetic), a seaman stationed at U.S. NAVY Hospital was arrested after he collided with a motorbike that had been running in front of his car in the same direction on Highway 58 in Uchidomari, Ginowan City, about 8:35 a.m.ePolice responding to the traffic accident smelled alcohol, and a subsequent breathalyzer test showed more than four times the legal limit of alcohol in his breath.

The man in his 30’s riding the motorbike suffered light injuries and was  taken to a hospital.

Leesereynolds reportedly denies part of the charge, saying, “I did not expect that the alcohol test result of mine was more than the legal limit.”
