May 3rd Ska music event scheduled for Nanjo

“Ska in Nanjo 2017,” a festival for lovers of Ska-style music, is scheduled for Sugar Hall in Nanjo City on May 3rd.

The event that is this year organized for the 3rd time will feature six bands, including Nanbu Mango Parties and All Japan Goith among others.

chomeTome, who plays the tenor sax in the Nanbu Mango Parties band, calls for the public to participate, saying, “In this festival, people can enjoy Ska music outdoors, and we would welcome everyone to come and have a good time with friends and families, like having a good, happy picnic.”

Tickets for the event cost ¥2,000 in advance and ¥2,500 at door. High school students and younger people can attend free by showing a student card or similar proof of their status. Children who are junior high school age and younger must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
